I finished my birthday Waikerie Dress!
Although there’s nowhere to go for my birthday this year, I still wanted to maintain my tradition of making myself a new outfit. The Waikerie pattern by Muna & Broad was one I’d not made before and I’m not totally sold on the silhouette being The One for me. It’s making me reflect on my existence as a fat person and whether I’m just uncomfortable taking up space because I’m ‘not meant to’ or whether I just prefer to look more hourglassy than the intended style of this garment.
